Marissa Conway is an award-winning feminist activist and Feminist Foreign Policy policy expert. She is the Co-Founder and UK Executive Director of the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy and regularly consults with organisations and governments around the world to design feminist approaches to longstanding foreign and security policy problems. In 2019 she was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 List in recognition of her work. Her work and insight are regularly featured in media outlets like the BBC, the New York Times, Foreign Policy, and Forbes. She is a writer, currently working on a chapter for an edited volume on feminist policymaking to be published by Routledge, and speaks at conferences and events around the world. She has a BA in Political Science and BA in Music from Chapman University in Orange County, California and an MA in Gender Studies from SOAS, University of London. Originally from Silicon Valley in California, Marissa is now based in London and Kent where she resides with her husband and cat.
