Tasks will include:
Replying to emails
Making phonecalls/replying to voicemails for Sapphire
Creating the copy for events and creating the eventbrite page ready for Sapphire to release the tickets.
Helping Sapphire in the planning of events around the UK, calling up venues, sending emails, scouting locations, negotiating fees, contacting speakers, chasing people and helping to come with fun ideas for events and taking some of Sapphire’s ideas and helping her to make them a reality.
Reaching out to potential podcast guests and scheduling the recording of the podcast sessions in keeping with Sapphire’s availability.

Handling of members, emailing the waitlist when a space becomes available, replying to any questions that arrive about membership, handling member cancellations and updating the mailchimp list.
Occasionally when Sapphire is busy making sure no comment in the FB community is left with no replies.
Plus other random tasks that pop up.
Job Location: Chelmsford, you would need to be able to travel to Chelmsford one day a week for the first month or if needed Sapphire could come and meet you in central London, if this lessens your travel for you. This can switch to being a completely remote role after the first month but initially lots of the tasks you may need me on hand to help explain what needs to be done/how to do it. I can also be flexible on hours if you need to work around childcare.
Is the job paid?: Yes, £10.00 per hour.
Start Date: 1st November 2019. Please note this is a temporary role from the 1st November 2019 - 15th February 2020. Hours will vary from 10-16 hours a week and there may be the potential to up these hours to include more and the contract to potentially be extended if The Coven gets busier during this period.
Things to note: You do not need any specific years of experience for this role, I am just looking for someone enthusiastic and organised to get involved. This is also a great opportunity for anyone who needs some work alongside running their own startup or passion project - if this is you, then I am also happy to teach you along the way the things I’ve learnt from running two completely different businesses.
PLEASE NOTE: People of colour are especially encouraged to apply.
How to apply: Please email your cover letter and a copy of your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org
