Sources and verification
Current government, regulator, professional-body and first-party sources take priority for rules, programmes and product facts. We separate verifiable fact, attributed expert opinion and editorial judgement. A secondary source does not override the primary record without a clear reason.
Hands-on claims
We say we tested, used or interviewed only when that work happened and was recorded. We do not invent experience, contributors, reviews or reader outcomes.
AI use
AI may assist with research organisation, drafting, code or checks. A human publisher remains responsible for verification, decisions and publication. AI output is not treated as a source.
Updates
The reviewed date changes only after a meaningful check. Material changes should update visible copy, sources, metadata and structured data together.
Commercial independence
Affiliate or sponsored relationships are labelled. Payment cannot buy a guaranteed ranking, conclusion or undisclosed link. Contributors must disclose relevant conflicts and consent to publication.
